Tari Piring at Mercu Buana's Univ.

Our Second performance at Our School *This is a special day*

Actually, this is common,but this is my first.

The History of "Tari Piring"
Tari Piring (Plate Dance) or in Minangkabau's language is called Tari Piriang is one of Minangkabau's tradional dance originating from the city of Solok, West Sumatera province (Indonesia). This dance is played by using the plate as the main media. Plates were then rocked with quick movements regular, without departing from the hands.

How awesome is it! :) One of my new experiences in 94's SHS when i was in grade X,with my old bestfriends :D
Mais,Icil,Rani,Endah,Kartika,and me tried to play it with good. Because this is our tasks. this is about Art's lesson. where we made one dance's group,and we danced a traditional dance of Indonesia. So we made our group, then because one of us noone could dance especially a traditional dance,so we're searched for Traditional Dance's CD and finally we're bought it,although it too expensive. its CD's about "Tari Piring". Actually one of us noone derived of West Sumatera, so we think it is very difficult to dance. But we won't give up. Bcause we need the best score.
So, once or twince of one week we're always practice to dance "Tari Piring" well. We're tried to follow step by step their motion clearly. Not only practice dance "Tari Piring", we're also bought 12 plates,and we're think it also expensive enough. Nevermind.
CD,plates,cloths and else for prepared our "Tari Piring" are a Sacrifice so that our perform'll great. ;)
One month practice, make us a little could memorize movements of Tari Piring..Not just in my home, we're also practice it in my class, to show our dance. My Art's Teacher always help us when our movements is wrong, and always support us. It is make us spirit to keep practice Tari Piring.

One day at May.2012. She told us to fill a XII's celebrate separation in Mercu Buana's University. It is a good opportunity for us,to show our perform.although we're getting shocked after She talk about it with us. We're also felt couldn't and our movements still too stiff. But She give us support so that we're keep practice and will make great performance.OK.We must raedy for it!

Time is running, we continue to practice until the time arrives. We continue to practice after school. It is make us have funn!, Bcause there is always something new in our days :) it reason i was really comfortable with them. Always chatt,laugh,have funn,and talk about everything in our life during practice. :D

H-3 we've prepared everything to performance in Mercu Buana's University. We got busy with plates decorate and still continue to practice until we move to look perfect. :)
H-2 wecould begin to understand movements by movements of Tari Piring.
Until H-1 we're still busy with all our prepared. We're also show our perform in front of the Principal of our school. You know? she criticized our perfom n she said that we're still bad -_-
We're received her comment..Then our prepared is already.

The Special day have begin!
at Morning,we're went to Mercu Buana's University drived motorcycle,with teather's friends.
After arrived in there. We getting looked for a room that is place to us for change our dance's kostums and make up our face. It is really make me confused, in a hurry, artenately we're make up by our seniors.

Before we perform, we take photos with other friends.

After we've ready in backstage. We're began our perform with pray, Then...
We waited teather's friends back to backstage from perform. My Tari Piring's perform between Teather's performance.
Sound of Padang's Music have heard,that means to us for advance to stage and dance Tari Piring
we're getting nervous but we're must relax. :D

A few weeks later, we're perform for second time to show to my Art's Teacher to get the best mark. Unfortunately our second's perfom is bad than first time. Its Ok. That important we've tried to prepared everything about it clearly. Althought us are bad. :D
